Title:HR Coordinator

Primary Location: Portland, OR

Function: Human Resources



The HR Coordinator is responsible for support the Staff Recruitment Specialist and HR Generalist with the administrative activities of the hiring process, as well as ongoing employee document management and filing. This is a crucial position to keep our team organized as we strive to get new hires through the recruitment and hiring process as efficiently as possible while ensuring compliance with all required checks and processes. Ensure pre-employment verifications are complete andnew employee paperwork is filed.A major focus of this position is ensuring all pre-employment verifications are complete and new employee paperwork is in place and filed appropriately. This position is also responsible for helping the Staff Recruitment Specialist to maintain our applicant tracking system, Taleo by ensuring candidates move along in the hiring process appropriately. This position may also support facilitating New Hire Orientation each week.

Job Responsibilities:

·Manages applicanttracking system, recruits and attracts qualified applicants through multiplesources and guidesthem through the hiringprocess in compliance with hiring requirements

·Ensures Network and funder required pre-employment verificationsare completed including employee background checks, driver’s license checks,state registry and other required checks

·Coordinates new hire orientation by ensuring proper paperwork iscompleted and working closely with the hiring manager and others as required

·Facilitates new hire orientation on a regular basis which includesreviewing employee policies and procedures, initial orientation to the companyand use of the employee portal

·Sets up, maintains and audits confidential, sensitive files andrecords, ensuring efficient retrieval of information

·Tracks and reports vacancies

·Works with area team to develop recruitment strategy for hard tofill positions

·Ensures the proper completion of new hire paperwork, I-9 andemployee portal activities

·Assembles initial employee file including new hire paperwork,background checks and other required information


Monday - Friday 8am - 1pm (25 hours/ week)
